How Does Curioz Get Its Salary Data?
Curioz combines three independent data streams to produce the
most accurate salary benchmarks for Poland's IT market. The
first source is signed employment contracts, which reflect
actual compensation agreed between employers and employees. The
second is public job postings scraped from major Polish job
boards, capturing what companies are willing to offer for open
roles. The third is HRIS (Human Resource Information System)
records provided by partner companies, giving direct visibility
into established pay structures.
How Is the Data Validated?
Every data point goes through a four-stage pipeline: collection,
cleaning, analysis, and delivery. During cleaning, duplicates
are removed, job titles are normalized across sources, and
outliers are flagged using statistical methods.
Cross-referencing between the three independent streams ensures
no single source can skew the benchmarks. The result is
percentile-based salary distributions (P10, P25, P50, P75, P90)
updated every month for over 1,000 role and skill combinations.
What Makes Curioz Different from Salary Surveys?
Traditional salary surveys rely on self-reported data collected
once or twice per year. This introduces two problems: response
bias (people over-report or under-report) and staleness (data is
months old by publication). Curioz solves both by using verified
contract data and live job postings, refreshed monthly. The
pay-as-you-go model means companies only purchase the specific
roles they need instead of buying an annual report covering
thousands of irrelevant positions.
EU Pay Transparency Directive
The EU Pay Transparency Directive (2023/970) requires all EU
member states to transpose the directive into national law by
June 7, 2026. Curioz provides audit-ready salary benchmarks
built from real contracts and market research to help companies
achieve compliance.
